In 2025 we celebrated a special milestone: our first 30 years under the leadership of the Saglimbeni family.
Founded in Milan in 1979 by Giuseppe Carioni, the company reached a turning point in the mid-1990s: after an acquisition process that lasted a year, in 1995 Dr. Giancarlo Saglimbeni – formerly head of the mechanization area of the Italian Customs Agency – became its president.
Since then Carioni has grown step by step: from customs brokerage to road haulage, road, rail, sea and air shipping, and warehousing and integrated logistics services, with new branches, a network of foreign correspondents and a team of professionals who support businesses in international trade every day.
To celebrate this anniversary, on the evening of May 24, 2025, we gathered for a grand evening celebration at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese: an opportunity to thank everyone who made this journey possible – our staff, clients and partners – and to look ahead together to the next milestones.
Thirty years of professionalism, efficiency, experience and reliability. And the journey continues.
